I would say end of financial year also has something to do with prices falling at the moment. Dealers wanting to flush stock and go for a push to round out the year. Full RRP on the VW website is still nearly $80k with all options. Also $68990 with S&S but no metallic is still up there in terms of price. 2018 registration and warranty is set from January 2018, however I think the build date was in 2017 (haven't actually checked) which is why I managed to get it for the price I did.Originally posted by tigger73 View Post

Also, I'm a cripple, I use a walking stick so people generally feel sorry for me hahahahaha.
Trading in a MY11 3C Passat TDI helped as did paying the remainder in cash, no finance.
That was from Ringwood Volkswagen (Ringwood, Victoria), so if any of you are planning on upgrading, I have no problems if you want to negotiate using my purchase as leverage. I'll scan a copy of the purchase contract for anyone who requests it if you think it will give you an advantage.Comment
