Replacement Battery 2009 T2 V6TDI

Hi Guys,

Anyone replaced the original T2 Treg battery with an AGM type? and can you do it without scanning the Q codes into VCDS? Are settings in VCDS necessary when you replace the battery?

Replacement T2 Battery

Just another perhaps dumb question re the replacement battery for the 2009 T2 V6TDI with an AGM type. They need a slightly lower charge voltage from what I have read, wondering if that has an effect on them. I use AGM's in my boat and that appears to have a standard charge voltage on them when the engine is running, and they have lasted for years - way longer than any wet deep cycles ever did......
