Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • 100,000 Km report

    Hi all

I bought my T2 2010 model second hand with 54,000 on the clock, just over 2 years ago. It was a clean car from a VW dealer who had sold and serviced it. Since then the Treg has done a combination of highway, gravel roads (used to live on a farm) and little off road work. It now has 110,000 on the clock.

Apart from my rant on space saver spare (since fixed with a change to 17" and a full size spare) the vehicle has been without fault. Normal service items but not a single fault !! Just returned from a 2,000 round trip from Sydney to the Gold Coast and back via WaterFall Way and New England Highway, fantastic vehicle for highway cruising and more winding country roads, it always feels safe and secure. Even when you dive off the bitumen onto the shoulder of the road it is composed.

I am keeping the Touraeg and will be doing more camping adventures in it going forward. Great car and great reliability.
