Touareg 150 - retro fit power tailgate

Took delivery of a MY14 Touareg yesterday and am very impressed.
Was wondering if anyone had retro fitted a power tailgate or how feasible this might be?

Would be a massive job if it can even be done..really wouldnt be worth it...VDUB....

Yes although I haven't done it/looked into it I would suspect it's a big job.

It would be an interesting exercise to price up the parts and labour but you may find it will cost you more than if you bought it as a factory option.

There are a few options that cost more as a retrofit (bi-xenons is another good example).
