Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

                    So disappointed active climate seats, available on UK model, didn't make the cut locally. Still very nice though, and great pics Ben.
                    2013 CC 130TDI Night Blue Metallic with Driver Assistance Package, Park Assist 2, Walnut Trim and Ambient Lighting, Front Active Climate Control Seats, Towbar, and Dynaudio Premium Audio.

                        It's got nice presence.. but if I was forking out $120k for a SUV I think it might have a different German badge on it.

                          what a weapon. 0-100km/h = 5.9 seconds.

                            Well, after seeing the pics here I went down to Austral in Brisbane and test drove a white one.

                            Wow.
                            The acceleration is sooooo linear.
                            Not as potent as the R but gosh, its not far off it dynamically.
                            Took it through a couple of corners near home and was really surprised at how sure footed it was, and that was after a sprinkling of rain.
                            The suspension is first rate. I love the air suspension.

                            Now I had all but signed up on a new Audi SQ5, but this just felt better.
                            And bigger, which was also a consideration.


                            SO, have signed up for one this afternoon.
                            Liked the white so much chose that colour.
                            Arrives 30 July.
                            Yoohoo.
