  • Interchangeable parts for a VW tiguan - 2009 TSI

    So ive seen a few threads around various forums, cant seem to find an exact answer what parts are Interchangeable from other VW's that fit on a VW tiguan!?

      Thank mate, My cars need some surgery... Water pump and also the water pump pipe that runs into the pump is broken. and also the alternator is flogged.. never ending !!! water pump and alternator are so damn expensive brand new..

        Well I wouldn't be running a used water pump on it anyway. Even new, they don't have a long life-span. Then you have to factor in how much of a headache they are to change.

          Mk6 GTI is same engine but not sure if the water pump/alternator are identical between the 2.

            Not a chance already ordered a OEM water pump . mainly need an alternator

              Rebuild the alternator.

              Make sure you have clean surface near your water pump and theres no oil leaking onto the seal (which causes the main failure). Make sure to install that water pump properly or else it'll leak. Good luck my dude
