Can depend on legalities in your country We can only go to a certain extra diameter in Aus

I have had Pirelli Scorpion ATR 225/70R16 tyres on my Tig for the last 50,000km or so and they work a treat. They are definitely visually bigger tyres and there is sufficient clearance all around - I have been offroad and not had any trouble with the tyre touching anywhere when the suspension bottoms out, even when turning sharply - but I would not try anything larger than this to be honest as it is right on the margin imo.
With this size tyre, it has the added bonus of making the speedo nearly perfectly correct when comparing to the speed shown on my GPS. Before the speedo told me I was going faster than the GPS which was annoying.sigpic
