  • Removal of front and back seats- Tiguan

(IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO DAMAGED TIGUANS PLEASE LOOK AWAY)

    Hi all,

I have come across some good condition leather seats in a smashed Tiguan which seems to be a 2010-2012? Not sure which model but I was wondering if these seats would fit my 2016 tiguan as I have base model boring seats.

Both smashed and my seats have air bags I believe.

Has anyone removed seats before? I had leather in my Audi A4 and I would like to have leather again.

I heard the battery needs to be disconnected and then removal of wires under the seat and should be a straight plug and play.

Thoughts/Ideas/experience in removal process and if they will fit

You'll want the seats, lid from the centre console and all the door inserts to go along with the seats to have it all "match".

It's do-able, however most wreckers want a pretty penny for all those bits.

And yes the seats should fit as I don't believe there were any changes to the interior other than changing the cloth fabric.

Based on the MkV steering wheel in that car, it's from 2010 or earlier. Not sure if that changes anything.
