i am keen to get some seat covers for my new Tiguan. Tried some sheep skin covers from the local car accessories shop but could not get them to fit correctly. VW does not sell them.
Has anyone had any success getting good fitting seat covers?
Bought some off ebay specifically for a Tiguan a couple of years ago as I have 2 young male "pension thieves"..... Cost around 200. They looked good in the beginning but the better half has had to repair the tie straps a few times. They have served their purpose but won't last another year or 2.
IMO if you don't have young children don't bother. My other car has black leather and I find it easier to clean and maintain with a wet soapy cloth and dubbin now and again.

I've got the premium ones off eBay. 25 mil fleece. Had them on the golf for 4 years and on the Tiguan for a year. And still look the same as the day I first put them on. Brand is Ilana. Fully lined
I bought these seat covers (cushions) and fit the Tiguan seats well, covers most of the surface, have 2 rubber straps to keep them in place. If get dirty, throw in the washing machine and look like new again. I had a pair fitted to rear seats as well. Had exact covers in my previous car for 10 years. No need to worry about side airbag.
You can buy them in car shops, got mine on the Flemington Markets (Sydney).
That's only if you are not in for full seat covers
