Tiguan RCD 510 frozen/stuck

Hi I have a 2015 Tiguan with the RCD 510 Head unit. After trying to use an iPod with an MDI 30 pin cable, the RCD 510 is now stuck on "Media-in: initialisation". Now not even Bluetooth media streaming or phone calls work. It seems stuck. I've tried reseting to factory, no good. Radio is fine.

Try disconnecting battery for 10 mins and back on and retry.
