no oil use issues on my Tig 147tsi.

45,000km on the clock, 4.5 yrs and i only need to top up 200ml or none in between oil changes (6mths interval). i used to religiously check the dip stick, now i only do it before doing a long distance (like brisbane to gold coast trip [emoji14]).

If you're looking at 125/132/147/155TSI then they're all essentially the same as Mk6 Golf GTI motor. It's not uncommon for these to start drinking a bit of oil later on in their life. My old 125TSI started to drink a bit from around 70,000km. It's not a major issue as such - just need to keep a bottle of oil and add a bit every few thousand km or so. In reality it's not a big cost if you have to add $10-20 of oil between services.

There are heaps of pages of excessive oil consumption in the golf 118tsi twin charger but in 75,000km I've never needed to add oil. So I guess it's luck of the draw?
Nil oil consumption in 6.5 years and 62,000 km with Jetta twin charger.
