After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

I bought this off Ebay it stated it would fit a Tiguan up to 2014 but it does not apparently the bumper changed after 2012 , If any one want this its free
as i've already been repaid by Ebay as it was not as advertised

This is the problem with the Chinese built Tiguan (made just for Chinese domestic market) being slightly different to the Tiguan made in Wolfsburg (for rest of world).
I found out the hard way that the Chinese built Tiguan has a longer wheelbase and different front bumper - chrome window trims and fog light surrounds don't match
It now appears that the rear bumper is different also.
So if you're buying parts that are manufactured in China more than likely they are going to be designed to fit the local built car and quite possibly won't fit on the rest of the world Tiguan.
