I don't think anything is going to help you if someone doesn't check their blind spot.

And what were they thinking anyway? They had only just gone past you so that had to know that you were there.

Perhaps another case of talking/texting while driving.

So what were you going to propose as the solution? Removing your cat or putting a 3" exhaust on?

You were just lucky nobody was following you too closely otherwise you could of been rear ended... the Tig has some pretty good brakes at least

There are bad drivers in QLD? I'm shocked!

From other videos I've seen I struggle to believe how many drivers go through red lights up there.

They had their blinker on, you should have let them in and there wouldn't have been a problem. You always have to be looking ahead so you can take action if needed.

I maintained my speed, did not go faster or slower in an unpredictable manner, beside on my left was unbroken line so i had the right of way.

In fact, when she was moving onto the middle lane I was already cautious of her because of her unpredictable driving movements but did not think that she would keep continuing the lane change and moving onto my lane until she clearly crossed the unbroken line.

having done happy laps arrange by Clay over 24 times, it does help me to be more aware of my surrounding, in fact more defensive than ever.

Sydney has heaps more but i was not paying attention of them.. probably just too many!!

Brisbane, the traffic is much quieter, so clueless tailgaters (may be they have never crashed before.. or they just have exceptional superhuman response to braking) / non concentrating drivers are more noticeable.

What I often see, one car tailgating another car within 1 car distance on 60km/h zone despite there are no other cars on the left lane and 50 meters in front and behind them.

Also, P platter female drivers in small hatchbacks... they are just the best smart (phone user) drivers.

What I've observed with Brisbane drivers, if they have a blinker on they are changing lanes no matter what is next to them.

Lucky for you she never made contact with your car.

At least you're relatively safe in the Tiguan
