  • Tiguan vs Golf Mk6 lower control arm

I am wondering whether Tiguan and Golf Mk6 share same lower control arm. I am asking this because there is a group buy going on to get these from super pro supplier and super pro does not mention their lower control arm compatible for Tigs. Can any one confirm these are interchangeable. I know HP's Big turbo Tiguan have these but they are specially custom made units for Tiguan.

I just did a quick comparison on ECS. They look to be different. But double check for youself.

The arm part is similar, the rear bearing support is totally different, so you can not use them on a Tiguan.

We make a kit in conjunction with Superpro and we have an exchange rear hanger & they are available through your APR dealer.

They were tested & developed on our own project Tiguan.

We will also release our own Tiguan specific sway bars in the following weeks - these have the correct clearance at all points & also have proper mounting stops & anti noise sway bar link end mounts.

I should also mention we have had Volkswagen Racing UK build us Tiguan specific coilovers. these are dampened & sprung specifically for the Tiguan & are not "one fits all" application.

Thanks Guy for the clarification. So I do not need to worry about group buy

I am interested about sway bar for front and also may get the engine swing arm mount at the same time.
