Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Workshop manual and specs for oils etc for servicing

    Hi all, I'm looking for a workshop manual for a Tiguan and some searches have shown some downloadable PDF types or CDs however I much prefer the old-fashioned book type (Gregorys or Haynes type) so that I can have it open in the garage with me. Does anyone know of any hard-copy workshop manuals? If there are none about, could you recommend the best of the electronic versions? If I can only get electronic I might have to finally buy an ipad...

    The other thing I'm looking for is a list of the types of fluids/filters for the 2009 Tiguan 103TDI such as brake fluid, transmission oil/filter, diff oil and Halidax oil/filter. As far as I can see VW haven't included any information in the owners manual - presume they want to keep the servicing to themselves.

      ElsaWIN about $20 off ebay uk best thing i ever did and it has all VW models. You can lookup the particular thing you want and then print those pages only.
      No need for an ipad unless you want to save paper
