this is true when you own it, but the same cant be said for when your buying

100k isnt really a lot these days. Cars have come a long way and some are built to last while some are obviously throw aways

I have changed it back to 100k and lowered the price, but the calls have stopped. I believe this confirms kms v price is not where the market is willing to pay. Now it's just a waiting game for the right buyer.
Yes everyone wants a low kms car. Reason people are buying second hand is 1) they can't afford to buy new 2) they don't want to take a big hit on depreciation.

The only thing you can do is have it competitively priced in the km range that the car falls in (i.e. cheapest 80-120km Tig). People will ring the one with the lowest price/km (as you found out). The other thing that you can have going for you is if you are local to the buyer which then makes you easier to deal with. That one you'll have less control over and then have to wait for the local person to contact you.

One thing I have done successfully in the past is to put a sign on the car and park it on a busy road. I sold a car in a couple of days doing it this way.

Nice try ... but I think those two things are necessary to pull in the buyers when the time comes.
