HELP VCDS autoscans wanted for Tiguan 118 &132 TSi's

Hi all

I am desperately looking for autoscans for the above models in my project to activate indirect TPMS and driver fatigue alert for those facelifted Tiguans that do not have these functions.

I need these autoscans so i can isolate and confirm the various coding values for stop start, coasting, rear assist 2 (as fitted in the Pacific models) auto gearbox vs DSG and manual gearbox in the ABS module. The 118 has bluemotion, manual gearbox FWD but no coasting function. The 132 has no bluemotion but has 4WD, an auto slush box and rear assist 2

Many thanks to Avdo Transporter Wynnston GippsCC and others on the Vortex Forum that have already sent me their autoscans and additional adaption block allocations of their 155's and 103's your data has been invaluable.

I am fairly close to cracking the code and hope to have some thing out next week once I have this information and can test it on my own car first!

Hi All

Firstly a big thank you to all those fellow Tiguan owners who took time and contributed to my little project by sending me Autoscans of their vehicles. It was greatly appreciated.

Fortunately for me, most of the autoscans I received from the UK were of similar spec with diesel powered Tiguans with bluemotion fitted and had either direct or indirect TPMS fitted which made my process of elimination a fairly straight forward exercise for some of the features that make up the final short coding value of the ABS module.

With the assistance of Dana from Ross Tech we have confirmed that

+256 is for park assist fitted and
+4096 is for the activation of the virtual module 4C which controls indirect TPMS

and through further processes of elimination when comparing Tiguans from LHD markets in the USA, mainland Europe and petrol engine models I am pretty confident that

+2048 is for RHD models
+16384 is for the coasting function fitted to DSG equipped bluemotion vehicles and
+32768 is for vehicles fitted with stop/start function

Unfortunately I have not been able to activate indirect TPMS using VCDS which is very disappointing as it removes the feature from the module with no problem

Dana is of the opinion, an online SVM dealer level coding might be the way to go. Providing indirect TPMS is an official retrofit or common
modification with a published SVM code. The dealer tool would connect to VW headquarters and any number of modifications are possible
on that level. For example, flash updating control modules, Coding modifications, Adaptation ... and in certain cases unlocking Component
Protection and/or direct EEPROM modifications are completed via SVM.

Still looking for 2012 onwards Autoscans of 118TSI and 132TSI manual and Australian 103TDI manual so I can finally confirm some additional lower short code values ie 1 2 4 8 16 32 & 64 that make up the final coding value of the ABS module. Any volunteers PM for my email address
