New tyre suggestion for Tiguan 147tsi with APR Stage1

Anyone have any recommendation for new tyres on Tiguan, had Dunlops from factory (31k), reasonable. Next set were Faulken (Faulken hopeless in the wet, 32k), looking for good wet weather grip, if I can get 35k would be happy. Around $300 price range. Mostly country roads, some dirt. 235/55/17's

Input tyre size and look at the review scores.
Anything over an 8.2 is a good tyre in my opinion.

I was looking at Kumho KU27's before the Bridgestone special came along recently (4 for the price of 3).

I think this special ended last month so you're back to doing a ring-around and checking prices off the internet.

The KU31's are supposed to be good too but KU27's are a quieter tyre.

I ended up buying a set of Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2 Tyres.

So far its one of the better tyres I have had on any car. Its quiet, lots of grip in wet & dry. Its cheap compared to the michelin, pirelli and so on...
