I clocked 70000 today with 25000 on the Eibach springs over the last 12 months & the original stock shocks are still fine...

On a side note, really happy with the wear on the Bridgestone RE050A's... Around 50000 on them now & they are still looking ok, may get another 10 out of them! Rotated the wheels several times over the last 2 years.
I've done just under 50,000. Though I have some weeping on my shocks which is why I'm considering replacing them while I've got them out.

Yes on the Octavia - I guess the Tig will have longer travel and you can afford to loose more

I've noticed more and more Tigs having mudflaps (suffolks pics reminded me again). Are these now standard on the car or are you guys retrofitting afterwards? If retrofitting, are they a pain in the ar2e? I assume one has to take the wheels off to install?

Buy oem mudflaps on ebay around $100. I didn't have to remove wheels to install. Saves time on cleaning car.

So how is the ride now that it's all settled Suffolk?

And if you don't mind me asking, what sort of money did it all cost in the end?

Nice and smooth! Springs cost under $400. Installation $150 tyre professionals.

Wow, was this for the total of 4 springs, including removal of your old ones? Sorry for the silly question, but I've just got a quote to install Eibach springs in my Occy and it was almost 3 times this price (install only)!!!!

Yeah, 150 doesn't seem right... My springs were around 400 landed (from UK) & fitting was around 400 too, inclusive of 4 wheel alignment.

150 is correct! I know the owner, normal price would be 250. Goodyear auto care quoted me 280.

Wow that is cheap. I was quoted $400 by Pedders.

I got quoted 380 from pedders. I guess it depends on which state.

Ahh, a case of 'not what you know, but who you know'!

Pedders did mine, they must have got the alignment right as I have noticed no unusual tyre wear from the changed camber settings.

Does the camber change just with the replacement of the springs alone??
