Yeah.. so sad I have a quad tip muffler suitable for a Mk6 GTI. And it can be connected to the Tig with some modifications to mounting hangers etc. But I really liked that complete package, rear bumper ,ABT muffler etc. I think I should leave the exhaust alone for now.

Do you have any dyno sheets for your rev3 tune for comparison? It would be interesting to get the before and after dynos as well as your feedback on the road performance.

Looks like the new rev 3.1 tune kicks in a lot sooner (i.e. less lag). Even though peak numbers are down a bit, this should be a lot more driveable as a daily:
Yes team_v I was waiting for this long time reading some US forums Hopefully I get this tune within this month, I contacted Guy_H already and he will check my VIN is compatible for the software.
Tigger73, I have V2.2 version software now but APR recently announced those numbers are bit off from what they have advertised before. Even though it says 366 hp from old version files they recently change those numbers to around 335-340 hp for V2.2 or older version maps. And 360 hp is actually more accurate for V3.1 and will produce about 20 hp extra power and torque than previous maps.
This graph shows actual Dyno numbers comparing V2.2 and V3.1. (in case you are wandering what V3.0 is, it is same as V3.1 but with some errors so they corrected those errors in V3.1 and V3.0 was never got released world wide)

Today I got my quad tip exhaust fabricated and now Tig got a complete 3 inch system from turbo to the tips. Now sound level is under control and I am quite happy with it. Now needs to get an ABT rear skirt. Bit expensive but I will get there.

Where did you get your exhaust fabricated and how much did it set you back?
I got it done from a local exhaust shop Dandy Exhausts - High Performance Exhaust Systems, Mufflers, Suspension, Brakes - Dandenong, South Eastern Suburbs Melbourne They are bit rusty but I gave them few chances to get it right. Also I had 3 inch exhaust from stiffy86's car as well and many other bit and pieces I collected over time including a GTI quad tip muffler , flanges etc. So finally they all modified a lot to build the system. So it is hard to say a price but for a cat back I think all together cost me around 1.5K and DP did cost me about 1K.
ABT Australia happy to send the rear skirt only for the Tig for 1.4k , If you go for whole muffler and skirt package it will cost around 2.5k
Still bit shame to post pics without a proper rear bar. And hard to get the pics under the car. I will post some pics and video soon.. hehe !
Cool I'm keen to hear the new exhaust. Hope you got some before and after sound clips. Though I know from personal experience it's hard to determine how loud an exhaust note is from a video.
If you do get it up on a hoist if you can remember to take a couple of shots that would be great... Not that I'm looking to do anything with mine but would just be an interesting comparison to see what route you've taken.
Perhaps even start a specific Tiguan exhaust thread
