Today I picked up few stuff waited for me in the post office and a big box from APR VIC master dealer. Apart from big box other items are R8 coil packs, PFR7B double platinum spark plugs, engine oil, oil filter, G13 coolant, digital torque adaptor and few tools Dean from FASTSTUFF lend me for free

Any guesses what is in the big box?

I got the K04 flash done at the same time. It is still APR K04 2.2 firmware version. But hopefully may get the 3.0 version with APR mobile in the future.
Dean at FASTSTUFF did let me unrestricted access to see how it is done, and it is great to see it is being done in flesh,apart from the part they split open the ECU with nifty little tools.
This is the APR standalone programmer for bench flashing ECUs. When ECU bootloader do not play nicely with port programming they bring this bad boy in to action.
ECU getting reflashed with stock,95,98,104 maps with V2.2 software.

I don't drive it harder as advised from APR. Car is in K04 stock map so I don't know how many hp it is putting out (155 kW or 190 kW) but I like how it drives already with new map.( not much difference to stage 2 but little smoother low end )Originally posted by tigger73 View Post
