Does Skoda Yeti have the same mirror cover as Tiguan?

OK, so I found the answer myself and it was YES

I took the risk and minimized it by visiting a Skoda dealer at night and stared at a Yeti's mirror wondering if it was the same and also checked Naresh's photos alas none were close up enough to show the mirror covers

I also rang a local Skoda parts to just check and quoted them the part no. They said none found in their system... The guy asked me where I got the no from, told him blah blah, then he responded simply 'it's not available in the Australian catalog'

Then I bought a set from this seller in UK:

Tried to do it via eBay, but the auction did not allow shipping to Aust. So I contacted the seller directly and they were willing to sell me a set, but outside of eBay. They sent an invoice via Paypal, I paid, 2 weeks later, I got them! All up shipped about AU$75

Took me 10-15 minutes to install (with the right trim removal tool to remove the mirrors).







Not sure if the matte brush aluminium finish is fr everyone, but one reason I bought them because of this:

Hi, wife has scraped side mirror on garage door, slightly dislodging the black trim around the mirror bit. I guess you'd call it around the edge where the indicator plastic sits. I cant force it back on. What is the best way to take it off and put back on squarely? MY12 Tig

Sorry for the late reply guys as I've been busy with the engine failure problems. Yes the Skoda mirror covers fit and I also bought the silver ones. They look good but don't stand out as much on a white car. I may paint mine gloss black at some point if I get the roof painted the same.

I suggest using gloss black vinyl wrap to wrap the mirrors and roof. Just in case you want to return it to stock colour.

I suggest using gloss black vinyl wrap to wrap the mirrors and roof. Just in case you want to return it to stock colour.

I'm not sure if a wrap can be done with the roof bars in place. Actually , saying that I doubt anyone will paint it either. My local VW approved place said they have to come off as does the pan roof so I put that idea on ICE!
