After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • VW approved Panel Beater in inner west Sydney recommendation !

    Hello everyone,

I have got delivered my paper gray Tiguan Pacific on 10/04/12. Unfortunately I couldn't drive safe for long time and damaged my back door while parking (I have reverse sensors). It has about 15x15 cm dent in back and very minor paint damage. Can someone please advise me any very good VW approved Panel Beater in Sydney area? I have NRMA insurance but planning to pay it myself if its below $ 600 (my basic excess is $800). Any kind of advise will be appreciated.

    Thank You
    Andy

Hi Andy, sorry to see your unfortunate incident...

Can't help you with a panel beater, but doubt you will get any change from $1000 to fix it properly...

    All the best.

Ouch! Hurts more when it's a new car. Didn't the reverse sensor pick it up? We recently used Regatta Smash Repairs in Five Dock. They were recommended by Barloworld Five Dock. Ours was only very minor damage needing only the bumper replaced. So can't comment on their panel work. Maybe check them out.

Thank You MGV and Speshboy. I have Quattro Club membership and Guy is coming to see on friday. If he can repair then I only have to pay $55 otherwise I will contact Panel Beaters. Its very painful.
