When's the next Happy Laps? I'd love to come out and ride shotgun to see how it feels...

I am away for the July event out at QR but i am organising the next one at Lakeside for mid August so you can come along to that one or give it a whirl at the Euro meet on Friday night.

Considered a forester, s-type of whatever their sportier turbo variety is? lenty of bolt on bits and what the car lacks in build quality, the underlining mechanicals are sound.

Dont know about Stage 3, but I love my Tiggy with its Stage 1. It shows no outward signs of being any different to any other Tiggy and I dont use its potential very often, but when I do, I love it and, it causes a few raised eyebrows as it moves out with alacrity. Normal driving sees me as just another old fella pedalling along in an apparently standard Tiguan. Best performance upgrade I have ever obtained on any vehicle!!!

          Cheers

I tried to out run a R32 skyline at the lights the other day (on stage 1), didn't get infront, but probably made him try harder than he thought he needed to

Sad to hear you may be leaving us (Polo community) sooner rather than later.

Can't comment on the cars you are looking at other than to say that I don't understand where the cash goes with those mods (just under $3k for an intercooler and intake before you pay the labour?).

For me, you don't want to end up with a f'd DSG, those things can suck up some serious cash if you have issues. I understand the Polo is not the fastest toy out there, IMO is pretty basic until you have it on the right suspension, then you can really get some speed from it (within reason). Thats not going to solve your want for a bigger car.

S3's are very nice toys, if you are after performance and it suits your size requirements, makes sense to me...

Probably later rather than sooner We're saving up a little nest egg for it as I prefer to pay for things than pay them off, don't need any more stresses in life My old man's got dibs on the pog so I don't think I'll ever be gone
I've got to try and get everything sorted on the pog (knocks, etc) Don't want to hand him a lemon
