Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    If I have to choose again - Do not buy it. I paid $400.00 including postage from China.

    The finishing is poor, instruction in Chinese which is bascially hopeless, installation is difficult and is not perfectly fit like you would expect from a OEM product.

    What is your experience?

    Agree somewhat ... certainly the nuts and bolts supplied were not high quality.
    And templates provided for cutting the covers underneath didn't line up 100%.

    But I knew what I was getting for the price paid which is substantially less than the originals and less chunky for my taste!


    However, my instructions were in English and I didn't pay that much for mine.
