Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Any recommendations on places to get parts painted?

    I was wondering if anyone knew any good place to get my ABT front grill painted and eye lids?

    I called my local VW specialist mechanic (CVWC) and asked where they got their painting done. I know that doesn't help much for western Melb, but the quote I got wasn't a ripoff

        Will post some pics once fitted.
        Just got a quote for the Kamei eyelids $100 i think i'll do it myself.
        Going to get the ABy grill sprayed shadow chrome as well as my rims Omanyt 19.
