Yeah, pretty stoked with turn-around considering some people are waiting up to 24 weeks and this was just 10 or so. It was obviously built before I placed my order, so was just lucky they had one that matched my specs. Was flexible on the colour, as I originally wanted the blue.

So, took delivery of the car this afternoon. Only real gripe at this point is the half tank of gas.

That said, absolutely loving it. Looks brilliant. The transmission is taking a little to get used to and have noticed it changes up quite early. And then there's that new car smell. Might go sleep in it tonight. Haha.

Will post a couple of pics once I work out how.

Going to get on eBay, few things to get in the way of matts and a boot liner.

I am taking delivery a new 155TSI, roof xenons, leather, 18" almost every option I wanted.
Tracked down a dealer in Brisbane who had one just come off the boat.
Ordered last Thursday, delivery this Saturday so likewise 10 days

seems to be stock floating around Brisbane at the moment

My wait wasn't quite 10 days, more like 10 weeks! But I am assuming that there was more stock on the boat with mine which might explain the sudden availability. How long that lasts who knows.

The dealer was Northstar in Kippa-Ring.

I'm not normally a huge fan of leather, but I reckon yours looks great. Enjoy the Tiggy, they are heaps of fun to drive.!!!

Although, i must say i wouldn't be game to get in there after a day at work in the field with my boots on! I met a guy at a construction site a month or so ago that had just picked up a new GTI & he felt as though he had to get changed into clean clothes every afternoon before he got into his car!

Nice ride Toby. I was going to get the black but my wife prefers the pepper grey.

I'll be getting the car in about a weeks time, and I can't wait! The dealer said they will be delivery more then 70 cars next week! So expect to see a flood of tigs and vws around town.

Nice ride Toby. My Tig will be docking at Port Kembla on Monday morning. Hoping that means it will be ready by 31 May. I got the blue exterior with beige interior. Love the beige!
