Hi is there anyone out there that has figured this out yet. Really keen to have a good look at the bank of blank switches where the ESP on/off switch is located. It comes as one part and has one multi pin socket and I am really keen to look at the harness side to see if the wiring loom has the wiring for the other optional switches. The VW parts dealer has told me it does not have it but I would like to confirm this for myself and advise others who may be interested in fitting and activating the tyre monitor reset switch and the other options.

Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I've wondered the same thing myself. There would be very few wiring harnesses, and I also strongly suspect provision is there, and all you have to do is plug in the switchTDI tiguan in the drive. ParkAssist, comfort, fogs

From memory, there isn't! But that's just my Tig with not many blank switches left.
As with most fittings, just be careful with the clips.
VW have a knack for making clips that either become loose or break, once you've tamper with it and try to re-install again.MY11 Tiguan 147TSI (SOLD)

The wiring wont be there, I can assure you.
There's different wiring harnesses for different specification levels. Very rarely will you find an extra connector in the car that isn't being used. This explains why factory-fitted options come in 'packs', ie. Comfort/Sport. They bundle a few things together, and design the wiring to suit. I do understand it sucks for some people, who end up with things they don't want, just to get that one particular feature.'07 Transporter 1.9 TDI
