132 vs 155 engines?

Hi All,

Can you enlighten me if the two engines (132 and 155) in the current model are actually the same with a different tune, and whether both can later be upgraded to the same max power, or doe they have hardware differences (eg injectors, turbo, etc).

I think the cylinder head is different - but I'm not completely sure.

IMO it's worth spending the extra straight up for the 155TSI if you plan on carrying out mods, as there is a huge supply of aftermarket gear for this engine (same engine as the Golf GTI - amongst others)

NO difference apart from the 'tune' written into the ECU, as far as i'm aware. Also the same as the previous years' 125 & 147. It is the same EA88 engine as used in the MkVI GTI.
