Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • KW V1s in da house!

The KW V1s have been installed and in a word BRILLIANT! The turn in is huge, it sits flat as a pancake through the turns and even the braking is sharper! EXTREMELY happy with these and the ride comfort is still great too!

Will post up some pics once I've sorted the ride height. I recommend these HIGHLY! And of course I recommend you buy them through Preeny, great to deal with

Using a whiteline HD rear swaybar which I've had on for quite some time which did make a difference when put on. I think in conjunction with the coilovers it really shines though.

Would you say they showed improved anti-lift/dive characteristics through hard acceleration & braking?
