Driver MFD Console

Hi guys, I trawled through these forums first, but could not find any information / pics re the MFD in the driver console on the Tig. Specifically I was wandering if you see Navigation information in the MFD when connected to the RNS 510? I used to love this feature in the Jetta and would love to see it in the Tig but can't find an authoritative source that tells me this.

Any info would be appreciated.

Need to be careful about this one, if the RNS is installed by the dealer (like mine) they need to check this option on the VAG otherwise like me I do not get this on the MFD. 2011 Tiguan with RNS510... I have been mening to ask someone how to do this via the VAG in addition to enabling the < > buttons on the left hand side of the steering wheel...

If the vehicle is a factory order, can anyone confirm whether the RNS 510 will be installed at Factory or does it still get done here at the dealer? My thinking says it should be done at Factory.

It really depends. Your dealer should be up front with you on such info. Check the price on the option.

Factory fitted is usually cheaper (around $2500) and dealer fitter will be more expensive ($3500).

If you order it prior to build commencement it's factory fitted. Obviously if you add it afterwards it's going to be dealer fitted and I don't recommend that.
