Is this normal? Gave the wheels a good spray and within 2 days, all 4 discs are now badly rusted!

Rust on discs after car wash

It's just surface rust. Have a drive around the block and your normal braking will grind back the rust and the rotors will be shiny again.

I found that if I washed the car and didn't move the car till the next day the brakes seize. Makes a definate bang when they free up when I move the car. Now I always take it for a quick spin to diperse any water from the brakes. First time it happened I siht bricks.Golf R, Rising Blue, 5 Door, DSG and some extra fruit.

only really noticable if you have wheels with thinner designs that show off the discs....
get some detroits and that solves it. haha...2018 Ralyee Green RS wagon. Fully optioned.
