Tiguan RNS510 phone feature stopped working!

Hi all,

Was going to post this on he electrical part of this forum however wanted to hear if someone with a tiguan has had the same issue first...

My RNS 510 has been working great with the VW handsfree/bluetooth kit installed from new (dealer), for the last 2-3 months and today for some reason the 'phone' feature has dissapeared and i cannot peer via bluetooth, the MFD does not have the phone section anymore just skips to 'service information', the settings menu on RNS 510 dos no have 'phone settings' anymore... Very strange its like the bluetooth/handfree has dissapeared!

I think someone had a similiar probably. What he/she did was, locate the Bluetooth interface (under the driver's seat, IIRC), unplug the cable and plugged it back. It worked again.

Try doing a search. I can't remember if I saw it in the Golf MK6 (it happened to a Golf MK6, IIRC) forum or the electronics forum.

Thanks for the replies, this worked great. Just unplugged and plugged it back in
