After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

VW really couldn't have made the 118's engine cover any more bland! Yes, I know....cost cutting.

The front end looks stupid where the rego plate attaches...!!!
The extra wide plate for the euro plates makes it look like something was left off by mistake!2018 Ralyee Green RS wagon. Fully optioned.

VGA sure knew where to cut costs!! Not! It's such a pity the nice standards they have in Europe such as high resolution MFD, dynamic light assist, lane guidance and the standard chrome trim to all models didn't come across to Australia! You can tell they skimped on the chrome! The 155TSI cloth seats look plain compared to the cloth in the 147TSI.
Agree with the Euro plate base. If they were trying to save costs why not leave the plate base off like previous models!

I weas really surprised when I took off my plates that they'd just tech screwed the plates into the bumper. And the guys who had put on the plates hadn't centred it in the car either. I'd be taking the plate base off unless I was getting Euro plates but at $150 a year (every year in SA) I wouldn't shell out.
