Thought it was about time I stopped lurking, joined up and introduced myself.
Took delivery of my first VW last week and so far I'm absolutely loving it (only hit the wipers once
) Having been a Subaru fan for many years (7 Subi's all up) it was hard to step away from the marque. However their continued reduction in interior quality caused me to start looking elsewhere. For a company who likes to think they're competing with Euro's they're certainly going about it the wrong way.
After having driven several cars from the Euro marques, I finally settled on an MY11 Tig 125. Decent value and performance for what I need. The task now will be to keep my hand out of the wallet and not spend anything on mods. I don't know how long that will last though as I'm a bit of a fiend for modding anything that's got a hint of performance from the factory, I just can't seem to leave them alone.
