Must admit, I'm starting to warm more and more to the new Tig front end (espeicailly with all the jap and korean rips offs happening!), just wish they'd have done something more with the rear
The Porsche Cajun is also set for debut soon with a full release in 2014.
I'm guessing whoever is responsible for that design is also responisble for the X6, in which case they should be relegated to designing nothing more than ride-on mowers - or Kia's.

Is it just me ... but both those vehicles remind me of Warney.
that maserati is certainly eyecatching, though not sure Hpow I feel about it, on one level it looks awesome, on another it looks like the wagonistic trend happening with X1's, X6's etc, which I dont really like.
why cant we get some serious smaller Toureag style cars, one's that drive great AND can actually go off road!

I guess it is becasue anyone who really wants to go offroad will usually buy an old clapped out car that doesn't matter if it gets scratched/dented etc.
Also, most of Europe there is no need/desire to go offroad so the only placed that warrant it are some parts of America and some small parts of Australia.
Maybe it just follows the trend of people getting softer.

that's just it though jimbo, people aren't buying station wagons anymore (e.g. no more falcon wagons), they're buying SUV's for the same purpose that have a higher driving position that lots of people now prefer. The awd is just a legacy from Europe and US where they get crap weather conditions and need awd for improved safety - not for off-roading.
Personally, I'd really like to see a return to rear wheel drive rather than front /awd. I'd love to do some drifting in the Tig
