Forge twintake, had had one on dad's mkv GTI for easily 6 months + now.

Great noises, more responsive, definitely quicker on the bum dyno. Real dyno (different day different dyno yada yada) listed 8wkw gain.

Smashes the carbonio for noise.
Have read plenty of "carbonio makes no more power, just a bit more noise" posts, haven't read anything similar for the twintake.

yeah, I've only heard good things about the twintake: loudest legal CAI available and noticeable gains....I think I would take it!

Strange how the Tiguan is not mentioned in the official Forge website on this product:

Furthermore if you read ... there's warning everywhere about each VW model being different and that USA is different to the rest of world for even the same model (e.g. Mk6 Golf).

Yet ECS Tuning is selling it under the Tiguan section.

not with this Tig aussie, but might at the end of the year when/if I order an MY12 (but I think what I really want is a Megane RS250 with 224kW/415Kw / 1360kgs ). Maybe both!

EDIT: Forge Motorsport UK have come back and said it's yet to be tested on a Tig!

I just emailed them and asked if there was a decent distributor here in Oz that would be willing to partake in a testing process that might drum up some business for them...

I'l take your Megane and raise it one Tig. Maybe.

From what I've read though ... the MAF sensor may have to be relocated to another spot along the piping.

Also not a big fan of removing and losing the engine cover, if it comes to that on the Tig.

However the pics of the Twintake on a Scirocco (with the same TSI engine and air filter separate from the engine cover) does look promising.

Surely if it fits that and say a late model Mk5 Golf (TSI), then clearance/space should not be an issue that requires major re-work in the plumbing.

I got this response back today (I mentioned that the Tig is quite popular here in Aus and that they might drum up some business...)

Thank you for the email , we can potentially offer the single intake version quite easily …

The twintake version will be difficult at this time as it is not a very popular vehicle in the UK , as may have some difficulty getting a car in the shop to fabricate the secondary intake scoop from the front wing ..

I will discuss with our development team to see how we may proceed
