It won't in a few time when you go to resell it. I'd be expecting BIG depreciation on the Freelander compared to the Tig, they still carry the stigma from the series 1.

A friend did warn me about the resale value of the Freelander 2, but for the amount of things thrown in (leather seats, 18" Wheels, Sat Nav) it was pretty alluring.

I don't know if they have fixed the reliability factor in any of the Free-Land-Range Rovers, however the models over the past few years have been pretty bad. A friend of ours is constantly at the mechanic's and the auto-electrician with their Discovery 3 and I know of a few other people with similar issues.

I do reckon they look the business though...
