I could have sworn that I saw a car carrying truck today on the M5 with a new Tiguan on board!

When I say new...I mean the MK6 front end like all of those pics we have seen floating around the net...

It was still wrapped in the white plastic etc from shipping.

I phoned my dealer, but he said that it couldnt be....

So, am I just going crazy???

The new facelift/model is due to be released next year.
VW had a press release at the Paris Pre-show however there were no pictures or even renderings.

I doubt we would be the ones to get the major release, if anything i expect frankfurt to get the official release.
Could be a press car or a test mule for our conditions though.

Not saying you were daydreaming, just saying that it wouldn't be released here for another year so it won't be a dealer vehicle.
Possibly a test mule for our softroading capability, maybe to test a new front end or off-road kit or something.

And still they look very similar in the pictures, especially the one with body kits,... and when you see it only for a few seconds.
Of course, if you see them in the traffic, driving in the opposite direction, sure you could easy tell them apart.
