Might go the other way and get a V10 TDI Toureg badge and stick that on! Then of course just drive off very slowly...

    Only kidding - I'm a fan of de-badging.

Most do - drive off slowly that is. Even the one that gets around here that has the number plate V10 PWR

Hey, I realise this is an old thread, but I just had to share my de-badging, or re-badging if you like...

I'm really happy with it - I like the TSI badge so I left it there, took off the 2.0 and after a ridiculous amount of deliberation and mucking around in MS paint I decided to balance the TSI with the Eurobadge on the left. The eurobadge is the new black, red and chrome version.

You can get them here: .:: EuroBadgez- OEM*Volkswagen Badges, Decals, and Auto Accessories ::.

Now to stop wasting my time and get back to hanging with the kids...

hey captain, looks good. Have you got the springs on now? It looks low in that pic. BTW, is that really your number plate?

Nah, I wish it was my plate, just a bit of trickery in MS paint...I wanted to get it since I was a young fella driving an LJ Torana - it would've fitted in at summernats really well...

I am getting the springs on in about two weeks, I reckon the camera angle must be playing tricks. Should be my last mod for a little bit I'd say

Can't wait to hear your take on what sort of a difference it makes. Good luck and keep us posted

That looks exceptional. Maybe the springs won't be the last...

Thought I'd revive this old thread with the debading / rebadging topic for those getting tunes.

Currently debadged my car - out with the fishing line on the weekend.

After my 30k service (and thorough check-over for any warranty items), there's some hardware mods going on and then I'll rebadge.

In the interim I'm running around naked.

I debadged as well, looks more luxury IMHO instead of driving free advertising for vw around

Yeah I had badging all over my boot before - Tiguan, 2.0 TSI, 4Motion. Debadged is definitely a lot cleaner lines.
