Got on a bit late probably not going to say anything that hasn't been covered, might offer a perspective with 20"s
where did you guys buy the H&R springs?
had a look at ECS tuning and, with current exchange rate, comes to about AUD$450 incl. freight.
Does that sound about right?
thanks
I got my springs form ECS they were vey easy to deal with excellent customer service cost me in the high $300 to low $400s 'cause of a better exchage rate at time, can't remeber exactly too long ago.
Like everyone else said the springs can feel harsh at times( noticeable more when I am a passeger) but other times they feel like they eat up the road offering smooth control and road feel. The 20"s were very smooth and responsive even before I installed the springs but the springs did increase the harsness of the low 35 profile in some circumstaces like narrow speed humps, larger ramp style speed humps feel smooth though, so pretty much a doubled edged sword secnario, like some of the other members stated I find respone and road feel to be more important than soggy wallowing comfort(which the Tig is not too much instock form).
Persnally if you are going to lower any car I would seriously look into getting a quality shock asorber, I have had excellent results from Koni sports (yellows) on mall my other cars which although firm things up they realy control the springs and contrary to what people think smooth out the ride, in my experience any way. I should have installed them on the Tig but did not due to budget.
then again like the other pics go the airbags, the look awsome.
Hi guys, I haven't been able to log in for a long time as it has been busy here. But I have the H&R Springs and 255/45R18 tires, and it was a big change a little stiffer but very nice but about 2 months ago I imported a set of Koni FSD and that made the change, the Tiggy will not behave as a car with Sport shocks (like Bilstein) but it changed a lot going thru potholes and bumps is far better than stock suspension/H&R springs and cornering got a lot better too. I really recommend it.
