The Tiguan R-Line has chrome finish mouldings, could be an option, as it is still OEM. the one problem I see (besides importing) is that they seem to be mounted too low on the door to be effective for protection, just decoration. Perhaps it is possible to mount them higher?

Hi just picked up some mouldings for my Tiguan (picked it up a couple of weeks ago - moved to it from a 2007 TDI Passat). Bought them off ebay from eBay My World - www.pawa.pl. they cost me $85 delivered and were easy to fit. Got them to suit a Honda CRV with the back door mouldings 20mm longer. The company was great to deal with, quick postage and easy to fit. GmacComment
