Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I tried Central Coast Motors, Gosford and Hunter Motors in Maitland. Hunter won my business, they seemed more professional and offered a better deal.

Perhaps you should look through the pricing thread, there's one here somewhere.

i found Sutherland to be an absolute joke.... when i told them the deal i was given by another dealer they laughed at me and said "they are pulling your leg".

30 mins later i was signing the papers at Liverpool VW.

                Very happy with them....so far.

Costa, try Southern Classic Cars - (02) 4254 2000 - They offered the hot price on the extended warranty that many people have taken on their MKV and the drive is not too far (Woollongong?)

interested to see what people have paid for the following:

                    125 or TDI
                    Roof
                    Leather
                    (maybe 18's?)

                    Or i could get a fully loaded 2 year old 3.0 X3 for $50K

check out the "How much should I pay..." thread again, in that thread see item 135 for what we paid ($37000 on road) and also my last post on that thread re where, pricing, upgrading power etc, all of which is in this forum in more detail v other threads, but that may help give you a heads up.

If your main interest is the price, in my experience and that of several friends who have bought Tigs, the dealer who has the car you want in stock - is generally the one who can give you the best price.
