Hella Lights

Doing my weekly browse on ebay for tiguan gear, i stumbled upon the new blackout hella headlights and tailights.

They do look the goods, but i think they would only suit a black or dark colour car, probably wouldn't do too well on white lol.
Unfortunately, i am looking at a white one when i get it, so these probably aren't an option for me.

Your opinions?

I really like the headlights and would love a set for my Tig. I haven't been able to find any pics with the LED's on. Also, I think they are quite expensive for what they are. If I damage a light in the future I'll probably opt for these as replacements, but hopefully:
a) It never comes to that as smashed headlights probably means smashed front end, and
b) If it ever comes to that hopefully they'll be cheaper by then

As for the tail lights, I don't like them at all. The stock tail lights do just fine IMO.

I was thinking the headlights looked better as well.

The tailights would look good if they made the inside the same black as the car colour, instead of a dark grey.
They also don't seem to flow as well as the originals.

From memory, they would set you back around $500 Aus so it could be an option if you ever need replacements, however, probably too expensive to actually get them if you don't need them.

hahahahaha......... we've already donated lots of extra $$$ to VW for those fancy pancy BiXenon headlights - they better be good!!!!

I would totally get the black headlamps for my white SE but the price is rediculous. The black tail lights are dumb IMO.
