Took the tig to glenmeggie lake... Very capable on the soft sand and even on the bigger ditches
I'm happy I went for the bigger 45 profile tyres on the 19"

Wish my wheels were here already. Should just put my savannahs back on in the meantime. Needs a clean badly. I'm barely driving it at the moment. Pic of my custom cat back too.

Yeah I think I've filled it up twice this year. Should just get a taxi everywhere haha

Had fabulous fabrication make it up for me. Only has a Facebook page, and he is hard to get a hold of as he does a lot of work for next up performance and 101motorsport. 3 inch stainless, muffler, resonator, vband join. Sounds good on launch control.

Any decent exhaust or fabrication joint can make one up. I still have to get a dump made up as he couldn't do it for me.

Had the roof and mirrors wrapped in gloss black vinyl... Pretty happy with the look!!!

Nice. Can you post any more pics from further out so we can see the whole car please?

Also how much did the shop charge you? Wondering how much difference it would be to a spray job. At least you can always remove the vinyl if you get bored.

Will do Naresh, got it done today and didn't have a chance to take more photos as my fiancé had to take it to work. As she drove off it looked even better..

Had it done for $400 and with five year warranty. Would of been cheaper and cleaner job if I took off the rails, but didn't want to mess with the roof lining... Hope that helps.

Thanks mate, be good to see the other pictures. I did consider wrapping myself but wasn't sure how clean the result would be. Can you see any joins where they cut it to get around the rails?

Yeah, there are two joins one under each rail. You can see them close up, but I wasn't prepared to rip out the roof lining and just wanted it done. The guy that did the job said that there will always be joins and as long as there not visible from 2-3 m it's pretty good!

Well it looks good from far and even better if it doesn't bubble up anyway. I have the pan-roof so there isn't much area to cover up by as you said, removing the headlining to get the rails off was too big and expensive a job for me to consider. I may be tempted with a wrap at some point but wondering how the front edge above the windscreen would hold up against stone chips.

I'm amazed they managed to wrap the mirror covers. I just had mine painted gloss black.

That looks tough - the white and black theme works well on the Golfs; I see it works just as well on the Tigs.

No, not at this stage. I like the ride quality as is plus we do use the car as a SUV ( camping, ski trips) so need the clearance.
Window tint is next and maybe black "V" plates to match the black/white theme.
