Or painted gloss black side mirror covers, like VW might do if they also offered a 'R' version on the Tig.

I couldn't find any photos of the prorack whispbar roofrack on the forum. So in case you don't have a sunroof and want to see what it looks like on a Tiguan here's a photo.



I think they look pretty neat on a 125TSI with the black roof rails and so I leave the bars on all the time (reality is I couldn't be bothered taking them on and off and would be my luck that they'd be off just when I needed to use them).

Yeah that was my plan if I painted the roof black. Otherwise if I went pepper grey on the roof like my front bumper I'd match the mirrors in the same colour. Actually if you look close you'll see if I have matt silver mirrors at the moment taken off the Skoda Yeti Urban/

@GaryP, thanks bud, yeah I would only paint up until the spoiler and then leave that white. Still undecided about having it painted because there is way too much work invoved in releasing the roof rails in preparation for painting.

Wow great pics and a sweet looking 2012 R line. Loving the rims too which must be the Mallory's seeing as you have an R Line - very similar to the Savannah's.

Looks good, nice and modern look but as with mine, the silver kind of gets lost too easily on a white Tig. I'm changing my wheels soon to gunmetal so may paint the mirror caps to match.
