Have you driven any or all of these cars yet?

The feel of the car is important and you only get that from a good test drive. Motoring reviews, including reco's by others can prove to be very different to your own personal feel for a particualr car. 'Goodies' are more important to some and fair enough, but when you are spending $40 odd k on a new car, imo you wanna love it.

If you goodies are a high priority, have you checked out the Peugot 3008. I am not huge on the styling but they have some nifty stuff and 'a nice feel' for some at least.

So for the last almost year I have been close to purchasing a Tig. Things that have delayed me are Price, 6 month wait and all the new models that were trickling out in this class this year. Apart from the Skoda yeti everything is now out and the Motorshow starts tomorrow.
Time to buy...but has anything changed to make a Tig affordable?

Bi-xenons * which on a 125 always seem to be an order only 2.0

So $43 is a little more pricey than sportage/asx/i35/dualis+2/Koleos/Forester/...yeti? - most of these top end models can get onroad for $40-$42 (no xenons except forester and koleos)

$47 is the onroad for the tig and that is significantly more - so my dilemma is what to do.
My other concerns are that the rumored facelift for the tig next year, the strong Aussie dollar, and end of year sales, I figure a tig is now overpriced and might be affordable if I keep waiting...or I can forgo the great drivetrain and handling (and maybe xenons) and get the yeti (if it appears tomorrow) or one of these other ones now, cheaper...

Even though I bought a Tig and am very happy with it, I bought my wife a Renault Koleos and I've got to say it's fantastic.

A Renault Koleos top spec with everything (awesome BOSE stereo/sunroof/sat nav/ipod connector/mats/parking sensors/proximity key etc etc) was only $40K - the equivalent Tig was a lot more.

Check it out, the transmission is very very smooth too!

on road $43700. I had a discount of $3845.18, which works out to be just over 9%.. I am visiting another dealer this arvo, aiming to get at least 15% discount.. wish me luck.

Looks like a good deal. Those bi-xenons and the tow pack don't come cheap. I'm quoted $54,000 for my Tig too.
