Im still in the process of trying to negotiate but i dont know how much lower they will go.

It is simple; find out what was the lowest price that somebody paid for similar car and than make an offer to the dealer. Never ask what would be the lowest price you would sell it for? Or similar questions.
You have to make an offer and they accept it or not, than try another dealer.
Look also at carsales.com if you didn’t already.

I have orderd a Tdi 30 June 09 and scheduled here end October possibly early November. Build date is week 32 which is now, but they allow at least 8 weeks to get here. On the subject of price, with the specs you have, you can get about $4500 off the listed price.

Avalasia, I have done some sums and if you apply the "corporate discount" of $4500 the drive away price comes out to approx $53,900. I think this price is fairly good considering this car is so popular and the car markets are now becoming better.
