2011 Tiguan, Light down the side of the drivers side pillar

Can anyone tell me what the Light down the side of the drivers side pillar is for, I think it was green then I just pressed it and it went sort of yellow , can't see anything about ti in my handbook .

That turns the cabin motion sensor off, so the alarm won't go off with movement the next time you lock the car.

Thanks for that, how do you turn it back on, he button was green before I pressed it, it is still yellow !.
