I am changing, attempting, the DSG oil and filter. Removed filter, opened drain and plastic level insert and only got maybe 3 L out. Where the oil filter inserts the oil is not draining as in there is oil in the filter base. Shouldn’t this be draining down? 2012 Tiguan 155kw dsg7

I’m am still wondering why the dsg oil, where the filter sits, did not drain down into the pan. Just as the engine oil drains down from the engine oil filter, wouldn’t this be the same?Comment
